Elementary school students from Centar Zupa prepared a manual for medicinal herbs

Students from the partner elementary schools “Mustafa Kemal Ataturk” and “Nedzati Zekirija” from Centar Zupa prepared a manual about the medicinal herbs and the edible mushrooms that grow in their region. Under the watchful eye of their teachers-mentors, the students in seventh, eighth and ninth grade, divided into groups, carefully researched and described each herb in their native language – Macedonian, Albanian and Turkish.

The activity was carried out through the Small Grants Program within the Interethnic Integration in Education Project. On the photos below you can see part of the atmosphere during the joint work of young herbalists from Centar Zupa.
