Days of Interethnic Integration in Education – Reflection and Sustainability Workshop

About ninety representatives of multilingual schools from 6 selected municipalities in which the Days of Interethnic Integration took place: Butel, Kumanovo, Brvenica, Gostivar, Kicevo and Strumica, attended one-day workshops that were organized in the course of December in Skopje.

During the Days of Interethnic Integration that took place in the recent period, the students and the teachers demonstrated and presented various activities that foster mutual friendship and contribute to the development and promotion of interethnic integration.

In the course of the workshop, the participants shared the achievements and the experiences related to the organization and the implementation of these events, identified the challenges faced in the course of the activities and discussed the potential manners of improvement and promotion of such activities.

In addition, in the course of the reflection process, they made proposals and suggestions in terms of how could this initiative become sustainable in the long-run at school and at municipal level, which would contribute to the promotion of the interethnic integration within the communities.
