Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in the Primary School Stiv Naumov in Bitola

Renovation and reconstruction of the roof and construction of access ramp were the essential benefits from the renovation process completed in Stiv Naumov primary school in Bitola. For that occasion a ribbon cutting ceremony was organized on 22 May 2013 hosted by the school and the Municipality of Bitola. Parents, teachers, children, representatives of the municipality, USAID and team of the Interethnic Integration in Education Project were amazed by the positive atmosphere and the different performances by the school choir, the orchestra and other acts.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Bitola and the Director of the USAID Democracy and Governance Office, Mr. Michael Stievater underlined the importance of interethnic integration in schools.

The process of renovation is financially supported by the USAID Interethnic Integration in Education Project and the United States Department of Defense/European Command (EUCOM).
