New Floors for Better Learning Environment in Dimitar Miladinov

Municipality of Centar, together with USAID Interethnic Integration in Education Project began on restoring the floors at the “Dimitar Miladinov” elementary school. Mayor of Center Andrej Zernovski together with the Chief of Party of IIEP, Nebojsa Mojsoski were present at the start of construction activities to change the floors in primary school “Dimitar Miladinov”. The floors will be changed in 21 classroom and it should be finished before the start of the new school year.

“The floors are 58 years old, so this shows the importance of this project. I would like to thank the USAID Project. Municipality of Center, as promised, is working to provide better conditions for learning and 21 classrooms is a serious project. We will continue to work in schools and kindergartens. We hope that our cooperation with USAID will continue and will be intensified in the period to come” said Mayor of Center Andrej Zernovski.

More than 700 students now and many more new generations will have better conditions and healthier environment to study in the restored classrooms in years to come. Dimitar Miladinov elementary school is just one of the ten school that will be renovated in the Phase II from the project.
