Forum for Interethnic Integration in Education with the Teacher Training Faculties

On January 28, 2014, Skopje was the host of the forum for interethnic integration in education with the teacher training faculties from Macedonia. The representatives from the pedagogical faculty “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje, State University Tetovo, University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Bitola, “Goce Delchev” University of Stip and the Southeast European University (SEEU) in Tetovo were present at the forum and gave their remarks concerning interethnic integration in education. The participants presented the existing multicultural aspects in the curricula of the faculties while the presenters from the state educational institutions and the partner organization Loja gave their thoughts on the experiences and outcomes while participating in implementation of the IIEP activities.
At the end of the forum a productive discussion was developed by the attendants in which the main focus was the involvement of the teacher training faculties in the process of interethnic integration in education. More than 50 participants were present at the forum and actively shared their views with the others.
