Floral smiles, sports and time spent together of the students from Butel and Prilep

unnamedIn the spirit of fair play and creativity, on November 13, 2014, twenty students from the partner schools PS “Panajot Ginovski” from the Municipality of Butel and PS “Goce Delcev” from the Municipality of Prilep, spent excellent time together filled with sport activities and a lot of fun. These activities are implemented as part of the USAID Interethnic Integration in Education Project.

First, girls from both schools got acquainted.  Although shy at the beginning, they quickly befriended and started with the activities.  Two mixed teams were created named “Rose” and “Gladiolus”.  The girls played two sets of volleyball up to 25 points, as real professional volleyball players.  The game was played in the spirit of sport, while the girls supported and assisted each other.

They immediately started making flower bouquets made of pied paper.  The motto of the day was “Let’s share floral smiles together, be friends, play sports and compete in today’s gathering”.  Happy and joyful after the day filled with floral smiles, the students from these two schools promised that they will continue to be friends, because the variety of flowers heightens the beauty of the garden.
